Seagulls skimming the ocean spray, clams bubbling in wet sand, and the sound of waves slamming into the bow of a ship; these comprise my earliest memories. Love of the oceans and seas, gifted from father to daughter, is central to my work as an artist. Whales, turtles, and endangered species populate my imagination, and therefore show up in my paintings...and now my jewelry, with great frequency. Found objects, vintage buttons, pencil fragments, and other items that wash up on the beach of my Saturday musings, also seem to claim their place in my work.
